Photo Assisting/Behind the Scenes – Assisted my friend and colleague Jim Yost with a long day of employee portraits – 80+ in six hours to be exact! That’s gotta be a record?

Can you text me a copy of that image for my Facebook page?

Accolade – Wonderful Machine Mailer. I really need to update my fashion & beauty images on my website, my model mayhem page and my Wonderful Machine library.

I thought you'd like to see that we promoted you in a recent fashion emailer which went out
to about 4,000 clients across the world.
I'll be putting it up on our archive page this week as well.
Also, we'll be posting the promo on our blog on Sunday, so it'll reach
our regular blog audience.

Film In Colorado – Colorado Film Initiatives 2012. Film by James Drake.

Errands – There was a time (pre-digital) when photographers were embarrassed to have their imagery processed at Walgreens or WalMart; my studio partners and I have been utilizing SAMS Warehouse for over a decade.  Update: 30 minutes after this iPhone image was created a white supremacist was shot and killed by two Police Officers just steps from where I was standing. Maybe a new photo series = local crime scenes?

Location Scout – Where am I? Went out on a Location Scout the other night to find a location or two that are entirely influenced by the Mexican and/or South American immigrants. Back in the 1900s, when I wore longer hair and rented a studio in the 5 points area of Denver all my neighbors thought I was Hispanic … and that’s just fine.

Location Scout – East Colfax

Industry BS – They (internet assholes) are getting better at writing and targeting photographers, but c’mon – do professional photographers really fall for this bullshit? I guess so.

Greetings from Milan.
My name is Mr Alberto Harrison I live and work as a Photographer here in Italy, I am 49yrs old. I have been
involved in photography since I was a teenager and it has always been a passion of mine.  I think when you
are photographing a person, there needs to be a connection to the person and I try my best to make the photo
shoot as comfortable as I can.  I can give and take direction as equals.  In the last year I have
incorporated portrait, lifestyle, and the recent addition of fine art nude to my shooting genres.I have
lots of happy clients here in Italy.
I have been looking for a Photographer for over a week now till i met an old friend yesterday that referred
you to me, so i decided to contact you to know if you will be able to Work with my client.. My client's name

in your Area temporarily until the necessary arrangement for her job has been made before she leaves.

to come with her to America but i told her i would not be able to go with her as i have a course i will be
going for in a week time so i promised to help her get a good Photographer in your Area..
Pls tell me a little more about your self, how long have you been a Photographer? and would you be able to

Just For Fun – I realize my version doesn’t end “at the computer” but I don’t want to spend my life editing imagery, returning emails or commenting on Facebook posts; Although I do spend 75% of my time doing so. 😦

PDN Photo Annual – Submitted six of the twelve images that I created for the Colorado Avalanche (Editorial/Magazine), six iPhone images that I created on vacation (Personal Work) and six images that I have created for the Colorado Rapids (Editorial Magazine) to the Photo District News Photo Annual 2012 photo contest. I hate photo editing – I wish I could afford a full time editor that would take care of all this “stressful decision making.” I also wish I could afford to submit ALL the images that I create and then HOPE one of them gets noticed by some huge New York or San Paulo ad agency. Images I wanted to submit = CH2MHill for CFO, Matt McChessney for MHSM, Rachel Lay of VH1, my UFC images, Allosource advertising images + lots more.

Old News – I didn’t realize my promo ad was still running in Frenzy Magazine. I really need to shoot a layout for that magazine. Check out the Fall 2011 issue here.
